  • 1 lb chicken tenders or boneless chicken breasts, sliced into strips
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 cups breadcrumbs or panko
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Oil for frying (vegetable or canola)
  • Optional: Dipping sauces like honey mustard, barbecue sauce, or ranch

  1. In a shallow dish, mix flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and onion powder.
  2. Place the beaten eggs in a separate shallow dish.
  3. Place the breadcrumbs or panko in a third shallow dish.
  4. Take a chicken strip and first coat it in the flour mixture, then dip it into the beaten eggs, and finally coat it well with the breadcrumbs or panko.
  5. Repeat with all chicken strips.
  6. Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium-high heat. Once hot, carefully add a few chicken strips, making sure not to overcrowd the pan.
  7. Fry for 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Remove the strips and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.
  9. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauces.
