Udon Noodles with Teriyaki Shrimp & Beef

Ingredients:

  • 8 oz steak, thinly sliced
  • 10 large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 oz udon noodles
  • 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (for garnish)

Directions:

  1. Cook the udon noodles according to the package instructions. Once done, drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the thinly sliced steak and cook until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the shrimp and cook until they turn pink and are cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  4. Add the bell pepper, onion, and garlic to the skillet and sauté until the vegetables are tender.
  5. Return the steak and shrimp to the skillet. Pour the teriyaki sauce and sesame oil over the top, stirring to coat the meat and veggies.
  6. Add the cooked udon noodles to the skillet and toss everything together to combine.
